taking it back and slowing it down

Okay, so I’m acutely aware of the fact that it has been MONTHS since I’ve posted anything.  As I hang my head in shame, I refuse to throw out any lame excuses about how busy I’ve been with running my kids to this and that which includes, but is not limited to, an ambulance ride to the children’s hospital after a 30ft fall from a tree, a doctor’s visit from a tick bite gone bad and meetings with clients all squished in between the laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning and school parties/homework/concerts and any various functions that I’ve run out of breath to mention!!  No, I won’t even bother to go down that road…BUT…rest assured that while I was silent on the public side, a LOT has been going on on the private side!    I’ll save all the mushy stuff for a later post but to sum it all up, I’ve been discovering what want for and from myself as a photographer and artist.

This post speaks for itself…it was time for me to “take it back and slow it down”…to focus on what inspires me and revive the excitement that starts in the heart and spreads like a flower to the sun.

These are adorable. I think my favorite is her standing holding onto the corner of the building, barefoot, with her nightgown glowing. It’s beautiful.
